Use them to defend actions, negotiation stances ... Far too many do not convert those values into consistent, reliable virtue-characteristics and behaviours. BUSINESS ANALYSIS SUMMIT On the 4th September I ran a half-day pre-conference workshop for the BA Summit (Business Analysts) South Africa. The topic was how to properly make use of storytelling (archetype, metaphor, anecdote, imagery, narrative) in business analysis. The workshop took place at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West. This was a dynamic group of mainly younger people busy making their mark in the business community, and ready to soak up learning. You may wish to preview the site UCT MSc IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT I’ve been asked by University of Cape Town to run a one week HR module for their MSc in Project Management 2018, and to prepare and mark the related examination. SACAP The South African College of Applied Psychology hosted a Twitter Conference on 13th September. I was one of the selected participating coaches. The topic was “As a coach what is my signature presence?” sacap.edu.za My blog post appeared prior to the conference - see this link I also workshopped a Mastery session with a wonderful group of graduating SACAP coaches – where the exploration covered “ Who Am I As A Coach?”, “Why Story?” and “How Does Story Fit Into Coaching Practise?” NEW
